Please note that international tourists can visit Baduy Luar only. Baduy Dalam is not available for international tourists. The trip starts at Ciboleger, where you will meet your local Baduy guide before walking into the Baduy Luar area and experiencing the local culture at your own pace.

Your booking is confirmed after the required deposit or full payment has been made and the payment has been verified by the Hepinori Tour Admin.
Flexible Trip Dates
Private Baduy Luar trips are available on flexible dates, subject to guide availability, local conditions, customary regulations, and operational arrangements.
Meeting Point
The main meeting point is Ciboleger. Guests choosing Jakarta pickup should be ready at the agreed pickup location according to the scheduled departure time.
Physical Condition
The Baduy Luar experience involves walking and trekking on uneven terrain, including uphill and downhill sections. The overall trekking activity may take approximately 4–5 hours, so participants should prepare their physical condition accordingly.
Respect Local Customs
Baduy Luar is a traditional customary community. Participants must respect local customs, traditions, local residents, and instructions given by the local Baduy guide throughout the journey.
Photography & Documentation
Photography and video are permitted in Baduy Luar, provided that participants respect local customs and avoid photographing people or activities when permission is not given. Baduy Dalam has stricter documentation restrictions and is not part of this international guest trip.
Weather & Local Conditions
The itinerary and activity sequence may be adjusted according to weather conditions, local conditions, customary regulations, access restrictions, or operational circumstances in the field.
Personal Belongings
Each participant is responsible for their own personal belongings throughout the trip. Bring only essential items and keep valuables secure during the journey.

Please take your rubbish with you and avoid leaving plastic, food packaging, cigarette butts, or other waste along the route or in the village.

Do not damage or remove plants, trees, rocks, or other natural elements. Please do not disturb or harm wildlife encountered during the journey.

The Baduy community is not simply a tourist attraction. Please respect local homes, daily activities, traditions, and personal space throughout your visit.

Follow the instructions of your local Baduy guide and Hepinori Tour team. Local guidance helps protect both visitors and the community.

Important Rules During the Trip
To protect the Baduy community, environment, and cultural traditions, all visitors are expected to follow these rules:
- Respect the customs, traditions, and way of life of the Baduy community.
- Do not litter, especially with plastic, cans, cigarette butts, or other waste.
- Do not throw any waste or other materials into rivers or natural water sources.
- Do not damage, remove, or pick plants along the route.
- Do not catch, harm, or kill animals encountered during the journey.
- Do not bring or consume alcoholic beverages in the customary area.
- Do not bring or use illegal drugs or prohibited substances.
- Do not bring loud entertainment equipment such as radios, speakers, or similar devices.
- Do not bring or play musical instruments such as guitars if they may disturb the local community.
- Do not leave cooking fires, campfires, or other sources of fire unattended or burning.
- Respect local customs and conduct yourself appropriately and discreetly throughout the visit.
- Follow the instructions of the local Baduy guide and Hepinori Tour team throughout the trip.
Important Notice for International Guests
International tourists can visit Baduy Luar only. Baduy Dalam is not accessible to international tourists.
The Baduy Dalam area has additional customary restrictions, including restrictions on photography, video recording, and access to certain protected areas. These restrictions do not form part of this Baduy Luar private trip.
Please follow all instructions from your local Baduy guide and respect the community throughout your visit.
Not Recommended For
- Participants who are unable to walk for several hours on uneven terrain.
- Participants with limited mobility who may have difficulty walking uphill and downhill.
- Participants who have medical conditions that may affect their ability to participate in outdoor trekking activities.
- Pregnant women are advised to consult their doctor before joining an activity involving extended walking and uneven terrain.
